Congratulations ! Well deserved from the composer of ” A certain age ” who had inquired about purchasing your CD at your talk at The Lodge in Vail .

Went directly to the offices afterwards , purchased a copy , love it , can not wait till the next one hits the stores .

So Vail and now Orpheus . Folks do seem to be catching on .

I may be ‘of an age’, but I still go to the local record store and listen to a stack of new releases every week or so. It’s also a social thing, perhaps a little old-school, as you get to know the other customers’ preferences over a cup of coffee instead of through hotlinks on a website. On the other hand, I wouldn’t have come to know about your work if I hadn’t befriended a mutual friend on Facebook. So I guess there are pro’s to both worlds.
I was happy to find out I could actually (pre-)order your new album here in the Netherlands. The first one they couldn’t import for some strange reason, which limited me to the itunes download, which just isn’t the same.
Hope you make it to the Netherlands one of these days.
    All best, Willem

  3. I read about you in the NY times (I live in Dallas TX.) and went to my computer and opened spotify and found the album and sat there and listened to the whole the whole thing…and then listened to the whole album again. I am now a big fan and have mentioned Where are the Arms to several freinds…This is the only way I know to get your music in Dallas…itunes, spotify, or illegal download? I pay for spotify…anyway.

    • gabrielkahane.bandcamp.com is one way to get both physical and/or digital… amazon works too, though it’s not as artist friendly. and itunes is actually extremely artist-friendly if you’re into that. you might also go to your local record store. the album does have physical distribution, so you can ask them to order it if they haven’t got it in stock.

      so glad you’re enjoying it!

      best,

      gabriel
